After earning an Associate of Arts from Orange County Community College in the mid-1960s, Ms. Kavleski obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences from Orange County Community College and a Bachelor of Science from SUNY New Paltz. She additionally completed coursework at SUNY New Paltz as well as the Herron School of Art and Design at Indiana University. Backed by her considerable education, she began her career as an art teacher for the Monticello Central School District, for which she also served as an art advisor and an editor for the Robert J. Kaiser Middle School Literary and Art Magazine. Ms. Kavleski also gained valuable expertise in the field as an antiques and art dealer for Brockmann's Antique Center.
Throughout her career, Ms. Kavleski has also found success with the Amos Eno Gallery and excelled as an Albatross antiques and art dealer in South Fallsburg. A uniquely talented artist, she has exhibited her work in such institutions as the National Association of Women Artists, the Albany Center Galleries, the Catskill Art Society, the Sylvia Wald and Po Kim Art Gallery, the Plotkin Gallery, the Sullivan County Museum & Cultural Center, the Butler Institute of American Art and the Haggin Museum, to name a few. She has been further featured in the Bau Gallery through the Beacon Arts Community Association, as well as the Times Herald Record, the Sullivan County Democrat and the Temple Emanuel of Great Neck. As a testament to her outstanding artistic abilities, Ms. Kavleski has also been commissioned by Christopher Coleman, Dr. Goddard Lainjo and Dr. Gustav Gavis.
Driven to remain aware of changes in the field, Ms. Kalveski has been affiliated with the New York State Art Teachers Association, the New York Retired Teachers Association, the National Association of Women Artists, the National Museum of Women in the Arts and the Guggenheim Museum, among others. For her professional excellence, she has been presented with several accolades, including the Miriam E. Halpern Memorial Award and the Clara Shainess Memorial Award from the National Association of Women Artists, The Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award, The Marquis Who's Who Humanitarian Award, The Marquis Who's Who Professional Women's Award, and The Marquis Top Professional (Artist) Award She has been additionally profiled in several features for Who's Who in American Art.
