After receiving a Bachelor of Science in cellular and molecular biology from Humboldt State University, Dr. Aviva departed from her studies to travel the world, during which time she was inspired to enter the field of medicine. She went on to receive a Doctor of Medicine from the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Presently, she has found success treating addictions, through which she serves as the founder and head physician at Thalia Medical Center. Eminently qualified in her field, Dr. Aviva is certified by the American Board of Preventative Medicine, the American Board of Addiction Medicine, the American Association of Addiction Medicine, and the American Board of Family Medicine.
At Thalia Medical Center, Dr. Aviva works to encourage each individual to develop their own tools to build healthy connections by embracing emotions and growing into their best self in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment. They offer customized treatment plans, including at-home detox and mental health therapy. They also strive to educate both individuals and the community at large by ending the stigma of substance abuse. Ultimately, they would like to foster legislative change.
For her efforts in her career, Dr. Aviva has received the Top Doctor Award for three consecutive years. She also served as an expert witness for the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Over the years, Dr. Aviva has been most proud to exert a positive impact on the world.
Dr. Aviva maintains her professional affiliation with the Pennsylvania Medical Society and the American Association of Family Medicine. She has attributed her professional success to the power of change. In the coming years, Dr. Aviva plans to continue her work in addiction medicine.
