Additionally, he was appointed as the head of the department of information technology software at the Volga State Academy of Telecommunications and Informatics from 2002 to 2008. Since 1987, Dr. Solodyannikov has found success as the chief executive officer of JSC Samara-Dialogue, in 2005, he was presented with the Main All-Russian Prize "Russian National Olymp".
Dr. Solodyannikov initially earned an electrical engineering degree from Samara State Technical University in 1967. He continued his education at Samara State Technical University, and was designated as a candidate in technical science in 1973. He ultimately graduated with a doctorate in technical sciences from Tomsk State University in 1988. In 1990 he was awarded the academic title of professor. Moreover, Dr. Solodyannikov obtained certifications as a teacher and mathematician from Samara State University in 1985.
Notably, Dr. Solodyannikov's primary research has pertained to the control theory of network objects of animate and inanimate nature as well as mathematical statistics. He is credited with proposing the term "network measurement" in 1980. Likewise, Dr. Solodyannikov has authored 2 monographs and 3 textbooks, including "Elements of Mathematical Modeling and Identification of the Circulatory System."
On the basis of Dr. Solodyannikov's work, a new technology acknowledged as "physiological avatar" was created in the form of a virtual model of the physiological system of the human body as tools for coaches of cyclic sports. Several medical applications in cardiology and surgery have also been implemented to determine the total volume of circulating blood in the body and the intra-aortic counterpulsation. The technology is utilized in rehabilitation to supplement electronic patient records, physiological research and fitness. Moreover, a number of his works are devoted to the study of the distributions of quadratic functionals of convolution type in random processes. Dr. Solodyannikov's results are now actively used in mathematical statistics of random processes and its applications, including in risk management of banks and large companies.
In addition to his professional career, Dr. Solodyannikov is proud to have won nearly 50 gold medals in Masters Championships in Russia, Europe and across the globe. He is recognized as a 10-time World Masters Games champion, 13-time world champion, 15-time European champion, 11-time Russian canoeing champion and a 6-time youth champion. Additionally, Dr. Solodyannikov is honored to have received the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award for his stellar contributions to the field.
