He garnered a stellar reputation as the lead craftsman and project manager for Denver Urban Builders as well as the owner of Revelations Construction before his current role as the Senior Project Manager and Master Craftsman at Denver Urban Builders. As a historical craftsman and superintendent, he builds furniture, cabinets and trims as well as restores, reproduces and preserves antique furniture. In all of his work, Mr. Strada seeks to exceed client expectations by delivering a product that is expertly built without compromising on its quality. His unique talents have produced works that have amazed his clients and inspired his peers.
From a young age, Mr. Strada decided that he wanted to pursue a career as a master craftsman. As a child, he was known to take items apart in order to draft technical specifications. Moreover, he always excelled with his hands, and had the ability to construct pieces by sight. While assisting at his mentor's shop, Mr. Strada was introduced to the techniques required to restore, reproduce and preserve older furniture.
Mr. Strada discovered a new passion in historical craftsmanship, and subsequently established himself as a historical contractor at Meaders Construction in Charleston, South Carolina. In this position, he assisted a variety of clients and found additional success in designing high-end custom homes. Recognized for his talents, Mr. Strada was honored with the Builder's Guild Award in 2006 and 2009. Several of his projects have been featured in Architectural Digest along with writes-ups in The New York Times. He credits his success to his mentor, Greg Herrman, "a great man who taught me everything I know!"
In his free time, Mr. Strada is an active member of the Denver Urban Builders Charity Group and the Guild of Craftsmanship. He holds a degree in exercise science and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, he aims to write an autobiography highlighting his life and career. Mr. Strada attributes his success to his talent and perseverance.
