She subsequently obtained a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of North Texas' Health Science Center. Dr. Prasad later built upon her expertise, completing a residency at the University of Texas' Health Science Center before beginning her career in the field as a doctor with Healthcare Associates of Texas and Haslet Family Doctors.
Drawing upon more than 18 years of expertise, Dr. Prasad currently excels as a doctor with Premise Health, with which she specializes in family medicine. Driven to remain aware of changes in the field, she is affiliated with the Texas Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians, with which she is a fellow. Outside of her primary responsibilities, Dr. Prasad contributes to those less fortunate as a frequent donor to Grace Street Fellowship and the National Charity League, with which she also volunteers on a consistent basis.
For her professional excellence, Dr. Prasad has been honored on several occasions. Most recently, she was presented with two Top Doc Awards from Dallas-Fort Worth Magazine in 2018 and 2019. Within the coming years, she aims to pursue a Master of Business Administration. Ultimately, Dr. Prasad also intends to become more involved in administration, while focusing on matters related to insurance.
