Previously, she excelled as a clinical trials coordinator, executive assistant to the physician in chief (David Golde, M.D) and office manager of Dr. Golde's laboratory at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from 1998 to 2006. Born in Oxford, England and raised in Dublin, Ireland, she began her career as a clinical trials manager at the Institute of Clinical Pharmacology in Ireland. Upon immigrating to the United States in 1990, Ms. D'Alessandro established herself as a patent coordinator with the office of industrial liaison at the New York University Medical Center from 1990 to 1997.
In her current positions as an office manager and an insurance administrator with Aging Matters Psychological Services, PC, Ms. D'Alessandro facilitates new referrals and current residents in nursing homes and assisted living facilities in New York State. Moreover, she is responsible for managing nine psychologists, as well as the administrative duties of the office, including payroll, insurance billing and quality control.
Since coming of age, Ms. D'Alessandro has always been interested in a career in the healthcare industry in management and administration. She obtained a business administration diploma from the Ballsbridge College of Business Studies, Dublin in 1979. Once settled in the United States, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in health care policy and planning from New York University in 1996. During her time at New York University, Ms. D'Alessandro is proud to have been selected for inclusion on the Dean's List as an honors student.
In addition to her professional career, Ms. D'Alessandro is the co-author of a scientific paper for a breast cancer research journal. She has maintained her memberships with the Society of Clinical Research Associates and the Irish cultural association, Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians. In 2000, Ms. D'Alessandro was presented with a Certificate of Special Recognition from the New York State Congress.
Ms. D'Alessandro is proud to have garnered over 30 years of international administrative experience within the healthcare industry.
