After a successful decade-long career in the U.S. Armed Forces, through which he served as a member of the 42nd Infantry Division of the Army National Guard and participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom, Mr. Cine earned distinction in 2012 as a security guard for U.S. Security Associates in Braintree, Massachusetts. In this capacity, he patrolled industrial and commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, monitored the arrival and departure of employees and visitors and reported emergencies to authorities. From 2012 to 2019, Mr. Cine prospered as a valet attendant for VPNE Parking Solutions, a hospitality firm based in Hingham, parking and securing guest vehicles and greeting patrons in a friendly and accommodating manner. Moreover, he excelled as a mail handler assistant for the United States Postal Service from 2013 to 2019.
Desiring a career in the healthcare field, Mr. Cine earned an Associate of Science in healthcare administration in 2014 from Quincy College and accrued valuable experience as a medical laboratory technician student at Quincy, as well as with the New England Baptist Hospital in Boston from 2016 to 2018. During this time, he tested patient samples in the clinical chemistry, hematology, immunohematology and microbiology disciplines. Since 2019, Mr. Cine has served with distinction in the laboratories at DotHouse Health Center in Dorchester and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, where he performs moderate to complex testing of patient specimens.
In a career suffused with highlights, Mr. Cine is most proud to have led a fulfilling career in the military, which drove him to seek a similarly promising journey in the field of healthcare. Particularly well versed in working with medical samples, he credits his success on the persistent support of his family, as well as his excellent education, which he hopes to soon continue by earning a Master of Science in healthcare administration.
