Coming of age in a small town in Arizona, Mr. Hing was originally intent on becoming a doctor. After earning acceptance to Johns Hopkins University, Harvard University and the University of Pennsylvania, he decided to attend Harvard but quickly found, through his studies, that medicine was not the path he was meant to take. During his third year of study, he switched to government studies, earning a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in 1955. From there, Mr. Hing returned to his alma mater and earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1958. Shortly thereafter, he was also admitted to practice law in Arizona in 1958.
Drawing on his extensive education, Mr. Hing began in the field as an attorney for Stockton & Karam, where he served until the early-1960s. Throughout the course of his career, he gained valuable expertise as a special legal counsel to the Director of Insurance for the State of Arizona and as the owner of Hing Properties. Presently, he excels as an attorney for Stockton & Hing, which was established in 1961. In light of his outstanding body of work, Mr. Hing was listed in Bests Directory of Recommended Insurance Attorneys and earned a Silver Star Award, which was bestowed upon him by the Arizona Governor.

State v. Heron and Lee, 381 P.2d 764 (1963); involving insolvency of Arizona Savings and Loan.
State v. Pacific Southwest Life Ins. Co., Maricopa County Superior Court (1963-1965); rehabilitation of insolvent insurance company.
In the Matter of the Impeachment of A.P. "Jack" Buzard, a member of the Corporation Commission, Arizona State Senate (1964); successful defense of an impeached public official.
Kush v. Rutledge, 460 U.S. 719 (1983); 9-0 ruling involving a civil rights issue.
In order to remain aware of changes in the field, Mr. Hing aligns himself with the American Arbitration Association, the American Judicature Society, the Maricopa County Bar Association and the Lawyers Club of Phoenix. In addition to his career efforts, he also strove to contribute to his community as the founder of the Scottsdale Racquet Club and the Scottsdale Athletic Club. Though his career has been suffused with highlights, he is most proud to have drafted laws on insurance guaranty funds, from which the public has richly benefited. Looking toward the future, Mr. Hing intends to experience the continued success of his career.
