Renowned for her accounting expertise, Ms. Crudup has found considerable success as a military accountant with the United States Department of Defense. Constantly receiving promotions, her groundbreaking contributions to the Department regularly caught the attention of those in charge. To her credit, she was promoted from the Department of Defense to the Department of Education because of her findings regarding the deficiencies in money management. Selected to her federal position due to her high-performance in the field, Ms. Crudup is proud to have been recognized by the Commanding General at the Fort Belvoir Army Base.
Finding additional success as a business educator with Arlington County Public Schools, Ms. Crudup inspired countless students to become managers and directors of various government agencies. In this role, she also enjoyed providing students in lower grades with the skills they needed to find success. In 2019, Ms. Crudup authored a collection of memoirs, in a book titled "My Journey with God in Spite of the Devil."
Ms. Crudup obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Education from Norfolk State University in 1962. Over the course of her career, she has maintained her affiliations with the National Education Association, the Virginia Education Association and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. For her accomplishments at Norfolk State University, she was selected for inclusion in Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities. Though she is now retired, Ms. Crudup's goal is to continue providing assistance to her community.
