Thereafter, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in secondary education from the University of South Carolina Aiken in 2012. Transitioning to a more administrative role, he earned a Master of Education in educational leadership and administration from the University of South Carolina Columbia in 2015. Slated to graduate in 2022, Mr. Baskett is currently in pursuit of a Doctor of Education in educational leadership and administration from Liberty University.
Selective and strategic about every move he makes, Mr. Baskett attributes his success to the great people around him, including his mother, who pushed him to chase his dreams, and his former superintendent, who encouraged him to pursue an administrative position. Likewise, in a career suffused with accomplishments, he is proud to have been a recipient of the Teacher of the Year Award from Mid Carolina High School from 2015 to 2016 and the Aspiring Principals Academy Certificate from Lexington County School District One in 2019.
Throughout the course of his career, Mr. Baskett has maintained his affiliation with the National Association of Secondary School Principals, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development and the South Carolina Association of School Administrators. Looking toward the future, he aims to continue exerting a positive impact within the field of education. Additionally, he aims for Seeds of Wisdom to comprise of a strong team and consistent funding.
