Previously, she found success with Ferguson Enterprises for nearly 25 years, advancing from her initial position as an inventory clerk to become the chief estimator for large scale jobs. With incredible career to her credit, Ms. Moran loves what she does for a living and is constantly inspired by what the field has to offer.
In her current position, Ms. Moran is responsible for managing a team of 13 sales employees, selling plumbing supplies to contractors and supervising commercial fixture buyouts for large commercial projects, among other responsibilities. Boasting a unique ability to build and maintain relationships with her customer base due to her vast knowledge in the industry, she has devoted her entire career to learning everything that she could about the industry and dedicated the necessary time to do so, even if it meant working longer hours. Ms. Moran also thrives on interacting and building personable relationships with her customers.
Considered to have been a tomboy in her youth, Ms. Moran fostered her interest in automotive mechanics. Subsequently, she completed coursework at the Community College of Baltimore County between 1986 and 1988. In time, Ms. Moran became more involved in the construction aspect of Ferguson Enterprises, eventually becoming quickly promoted to the assistant purchasing agent for inside and outside sales, the showroom manager and the chief estimator.
As a result of her ability to give back, Ms. Moran has proudly supported various emergency efforts throughout North Carolina, including Hurricane Sandy. She also sponsored a truck for the Helping Up Mission and was active as a sponsor on behalf of the Boy Scouts of America. To further enhance her career, she was a member of the Baltimore Washington Suburban Area Contractors Association and the Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Contractors Association. Recognized in her field, Ms. Moran was nominated for PHCP Plumbing Engineering Magazine's Woman of the Year Award in 2020.
