STAFFORD, VA, July 08, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lorraine Marie Montanari has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Specialized in literature, Ms. Montanari lends three decades of professional experience to her service as an educator and writer. As an erudite advisor, she served as an advanced placement and senior English teacher at Woodbridge Senior High School in Woodbridge, Virginia, from 1991 until she retired in 2013. To further demonstrate her dedication to learning, Ms. Montanari also taught as a professor at Strayer University and Northern Virginia Community College, although she had to stop teaching at the college level in 2008 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Following her retirement, Ms. Montanari decided that she had not done enough for the world, and still teaches to her local community through her local church's Bible study. Adjacent to her main responsibilities in the field, she has distinguished herself as an author, through which she has contributed as a blogpost writer since 2013, a magazine contributing editor since 2011 and a newspaper columnist on behalf of Potomac News for four years. Specializing in writing articles, short stories, fiction and non-fiction, Ms. Montanari has penned several published pieces, such as "Shakespeare's Take on 2020" and "Inspired Writing by Lorraine Marie (https://lorrainemariegodinspired.wordpress.com/blog/).
Ms. Montanari's achievements have been largely driven by her love of reading, writing and her desire to help others understand literature. Furthermore, she is proud to have served as a dedicated member of her local community. Among her many career accomplishments, Ms. Montanari was particularly gratified to be chosen as the commencement speaker for Woodbridge Senior High School in 2009, not long after she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Despite being physically depleted from the treatments, she still fondly remembers the cheering of her students.
