An investment research analyst and a respected member of the oil industry who has dedicated decades of experience in the industry, Mr. Gaspar initiated his investment research career with Frederick and Company Inc. in Milwaukee in 1960. Robert W. Barid was attracted to his oil research, and he started writing the Gaspar Report in 1975, which was a research publication that focused on the US and international petroleum industry published by Robert W. Barid for 35 years. In community involvement efforts, Mr. Gaspar formed the original Dominican High School Development Committee and in addition he helped initiate the Annual Milwaukee Tennis Classic Tournament in 1976, and was the past chairman of the board of the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts in Milwaukee in the early 1990s, which included a major 26 million dollar expansion and renovation program of the facility. This was followed by forming the first board of directors for the Growing Milwaukee Nativity Jesuit Academy. For the past 32 years, Mr. Gaspar has been a member of the Milwaukee County War Memorial Center board of trustees serving as chairman of the board for 12 years in the past and currently is chairman of the development committee.
Mr. Gaspar notably earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and economics from Marquette University in 1958. Upon his graduation, he was commissioned and served as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers until the mid-1960s. He received the Army Commendation Medal for his service on the headquarters staff as control officer of the 593rd U.S. Army Corps of Engineers located in Granite City, Illinois. To support his professional endeavors, Mr. Gaspar is an active member of the Financial Analysts Federation, the Milwaukee Society of Investment Analysts, the National Association of Petroleum Investment Analysts and the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
