Four years later, she was recruited as an associate attorney at The Cline Law Group, with which she flourished for six years and garnered a wealth of expertise in bankruptcy law. Throughout the following five years, she found further success as an associate attorney at Niesar and Cecchini LLP. During the beginning of this period, Ms. Cross has also excelled as a bankruptcy law instructor at Armstrong College in Berkeley, California.
From 1990 until her retirement in 2012, Ms. Cross thrived as a senior attorney at McKenna & Fitting LP, which has since merged with the multinational law firm Dentons. Throughout her 30-year career in law, she helped many clients rebuild their lives following tremendous misfortunes such as bankruptcy or even homelessness. Ms. Cross is also extremely proud that she was able to continue practicing law while undergoing treatment for cancer.
Since retiring from the field of law, Ms. Cross has developed a passion for poetry. She is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts at Saint Mary's College of California. She has additionally served as an elected member of the Board of Directors for the Stinson Beach County Water District for nearly ten years. Ms. Cross attributes her success to the excitement that she felt when appearing in court along with her natural aptitude for highly complex and intellectually-stimulating cases.
