Mr. Sager earned a Bachelor of Science in English Education in 2009 from Victory University in Memphis, Tennessee. Following this accomplishment, he attained a Master of Education from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. After undertaking coursework in the Educational Leadership program with the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2013, Mr. Sager obtained a Doctor of Education from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2021.
Mr. Sager prospered as the Director of Youth Ministry at the Golden Gate Cathedral, a Full Gospel Baptist church in Memphis, Tennessee, from 2010 to 2013 and garnered exemplary experience as an adjunct instructor with Arkansas State University Mid-South in West Memphis, Arkansas between 2012 and 2014. He continued his career as an English instructor, Professional Learning Community Coach and Instructional Literacy Coach with Shelby County Schools in Tennessee from 2010 to 2016. Mr. Sager subsequently advanced to become the Assistant Principal with Power Center Academy Middle School in Memphis, Tennessee in 2016, a role he maintained until 2020, whereupon he was promoted as the Ninth Grade Academy Principal.
Since 2021, Mr. Sager has flourished as a Principal in the Republic Schools network in Nashville, Tennessee. In addition to his educational career, in 2015 he founded a travel agency, Sager's Exquisite Travel and Excursions, through which he books cruises, vacations, hotels, all-inclusive resorts, tours, airline tickets and car rentals. Mr. Sager is professionally certified as an English teacher and licensed as a Professional Administrator in the state of Tennessee.
Mr. Sager was motivated to become involved in the educational field due to his natural love for children, as well as the inspiration he received from his mother. In a career suffused with highlights, he is particularly proud to have been the first member of his family to graduate from college. In the coming years, Mr. Sager wishes to continue succeeding as a school principal, and create an organization in which families can be supported not only with education but with wellness and self-awareness.
