Drawing on five decades of expertise, Ms. Foreman is notably a former vice president and director of training for the Life Underwriter Training Council in Washington, field representative for Manufacturers Life Insurance Company in Washington, and agent training consultant to major insurance companies in Washington, Boston, New York and Toronto. During her esteemed career, she also provided her expertise to the Women's National Bank in Washington and Heartland Health Care Center in Fort Myers on those organizations' advisory board, and the National Association of Women Business Owners in Washington and Fort Myers.
Ms. Foreman has written extensively on risk appraisal and financial planning. She notably published "Sales Builder" in 1987, "AIDS Strikes Home" in 1988, "Time Builder" in 1989, and "Leaving Nothing to Chance" in 1990. Likewise, Ms. Foreman edited "Financial Planning Skills Course" in 1984, followed by "Group Insurance," "Life Insurance Concepts" and "Multiline Skills Course" in 1985.
A leader behind numerous community initiatives in Fort Myers, Ms. Foreman has served on the board of the Estate Planning Council of Lee County since 2013 and the Laboratory Theater of Florida since 2019, and on the finance committee of Temple Beth El. She is also a past chapter president of the B'nai B'rith Women and a trustee of the B'nai B'rith International Pension Plan. Some of Ms. Foreman's former commitments have included presiding over the southwest Florida chapter of the Florida State Guardians Association, and serving as a trustee of the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall Foundation and multiple terms on the board of the Landings Yacht, Golf and Tennis Club in Fort Myers.
Ms. Foreman received a Master of Science in financial services from American College in 1980. She is a chartered life underwriter, chartered financial consultant, certified financial planner and certified trust and fiduciary advisor; and has taught many of the courses that lead to those designations. To remain aware of developments in her field, she maintains her professional membership in the southwest Florida Chapter of the Financial Planning Association. Ms. Foreman was also active with the southwest Florida chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisers as a former board member and past president, and the Society of Financial Services Professionals.
Ms. Foreman's outstanding accomplishments in her field have been recognized with several National Sales Achievement Awards between 1973 and 1978 and several National Quality Awards from 1973 to 1979 from the National Association of Life Underwriters. She was also named as the Associate of the Year by Manufacturers Life Insurance Company in 1974.
