In this role, his responsibilities include managing and litigating personal injury cases, speaking to clients, hiring employees, and managing the day to day operations of his law firm. Prior to forming Piedra | London, he excelled as an attorney at Steinger, Greene & Feiner and defended insurance companies as an associate attorney at Groves & Verona, P.A.
From a young age, Mr. London realized firsthand how some insurance companies took advantage of individuals in various accidents. After his parents did not receive the help, protection or compensation they deserved following a car accident, he vowed to represent individuals and prevent them from becoming victimized by a system that should be protecting them. As a result, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in political science and government from Florida Atlantic University in 2009. Thereafter, he earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Shepard Broad College of Law at Nova Southeastern University in 2014. While in law school, Jay was employed as a law clerk with the boutique law personal injury law firm, Krupnick, Campbell, Malone, Buser, Slama, Hancock, Liberman & McKee, P.A., and later at The McKee Law Group LLC.
Over the course of his career, Mr. London is proud to have recovered in excess of $30 million for his clients who were injured in accidents. He attributes his success to his ability to operate his business in a consumer-focused and customer-driven manner. Looking toward the future, he aims to expand his firm to include up to 15 lawyers handling matters throughout Florida.
