As a budget financial manager with Orbis LLC, she provides government program support that includes Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) for assigned Navy programs, and assists in establishing, maintaining and revising Future Years Defense Plan (FYDP) for assigned DoD program budgets and financial audits. Comprehensive program budget execution and analytical abilities include unliquidated and liquidated obligation tracking, database manipulation, cost estimate development, and specialized report generation.
Previously, Mrs. Walker-Richards held a position at the Navy Yard in Washington, DC as a budget financial manager where she utilized her experience and expertise in budget control reviews, program financial evaluations, and business process management.
Mrs. Walker-Richards' exemplary performance in the field was born of her academic journey. In 2004, she would complete a Bachelor of Arts in health administration from Southeastern University. Mrs. Walker-Richards continued her education at Trident University International where she earned a Master of Health and Science degree and graduated with honors.
To commemorate her accomplishments, Mrs. Walker-Richards has been bestowed with several Top Target Awards for excellence and loyal support from the Navy in 2020. She also received a Plaque of Appreciation from the US. Department of State in 2011. In the future, Mrs. Walker-Richards wishes to open her own female owned business in financial consulting.
