After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from P. T. Science College of South Gujarat University in India, Mr. Rangrej immigrated to the United States, furthering his education with a Masters in Business Administration from the Institute of Psychotherapy and Management, Mumbai, India, earned in 2002. Later in that same year, he graduated with a Ph.D. in finance management. In addition to these academic accomplishments, Mr. Rangrej garnered certifications as a Certified Hotel Administrator from the American Hotel & Motel Association, a system engineer from Microsoft and in community minority business advancement from the University of Texas at Austin. He also has earned Certification in Community Minority Business Advancement (CMBA), University of Texas - Austin; Certification in Marketing of Hospitality Services; Certification in Housekeeping Management; Certified Microsoft System Engineer. He is also Author of the book named "Key to Success Hospitality Empire," which he wrote to educate the families who arrive to the U.S. and would like to know about hospitality industries prior to their arrival.
Mr. Rangrej has excelled in the hospitality industries with various hotel chains from economy to upscale brands which have operations in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Honduras, since 2002, as well as an owner and accountant at TR Hospitality Management LLC, a specialized hospitality company, since 2008. In addition, he is active as the chief executive officer of American Regional Center (EB 5), a facilitator of legal passage and permanent residency for foreign investors in the United States. Mr. Rangrej also found success for seven years as a partner at Rave Gears and Machining, a manufacturing company based in Seguin, Texas.
Mr. Rangrej has accrued many honors during his career, including recognition as the Outstanding General Manager of the Year from the American Hotel and Lodging Association in 2001 and the Small Business Leadership Achievement Award from the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce in 2013 as well as Housekeeping Supervisor of the Quarter, Harrah's Casino, Atlantic City, NJ in 1989. He considers his most notable achievement with his company, Rave Gear, which had earned a multi-million contract with Boeing to provide gears for airplanes, Robinson helicopters, SPACEX, Bell Helicopters, Columbia Helicopters, Erickson, Rolls Royce, ViaSat, Pratt & Whitney, Raytheon Technologies and Car Auto Racing (NASCAR). In the coming years, Mr. Rangrej is hoping to develop and market high-end luxury houses and multi-family homes.
In addition, he is also involved in religious organizations like BAPS. "Self-discipline and respect to others. Believe in God. Be ready to always help the people. Mr. Rangrej became involved in his profession because when he came to the United States, the only business that he could find employment in was the hotel business. Not only did they have a place to stay but it became a business as well. He wanted to be with his family, living with them while running the business and so the hotel business was the right path for him. He didn't want to depend on anyone and didn't want to be educated by anyone and so he tried to learn things by himself. He got to where he currently is because of his perseverance, independence, and self-discipline. He became involved in the accounting & payroll industry because he loves numbers. He likes to solve problems and loves challenges. According to him, he can leave the business to his employees but he doesn't know where he stands and so he likes to manage everything by himself. He is very hands-on when it comes to business handling.
