Mrs. Hetherington-Evans is currently active as a licensed business owner with 13 locations of The Pretty Kitty throughout California and Nevada and 13 additional licensed stores in Texas.
Prior to her successful business venture, Mrs. Hetherington-Evans went to fashion college and then later served as a plane captain in the United States Navy between 1995 and 1999. Completing her service in the 101st Tom Cat Squadron in San Diego, she is credited with launching and recovering F14 fighter jets over the course of her military tenure. Determined to utilize her GI Bill, she completed coursework in aesthetics at the Poway/Bellus Academy in Poway, California. Soon thereafter, Mrs. Hetherington-Evans became licensed as an esthetician in 2000.
Mrs. Hetherington-Evans attributes her success to the unique approach that she and her estheticians take to provide the traditionally delicate service. She is proud to manage a network of salons that offer a variety of waxing services, including eyebrow waxing, bikini waxing and full leg waxing packages. Though her career has been suffused with highlights, Mrs. Hetherington-Evans was honored to have been a recipient of the Top 100 Women of the Year Award in 2017 in Las Vegas. She was also featured on an episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County providing waxing services for one of the cast members and her company has been written up in a variety of luxury magazines including Conde Nast. Dedicated to her community, Mrs. Hetherington-Evans is gratified to donate to local high schools and charity events regularly. Looking toward the future, Mrs. Hetherington-Evans aims to continue enjoying the successes of her businesses with the goal of expanding within the Las Vegas area.
