Mr. Al-Kazzaz benefits from the accumulated experience of more than three decades of excellence in the field of law and engineering. In his present capacity, he serves as a procurement and contract management consultant for the World Bank, where he delivers training sessions as well as works with a team of specialists to promulgate new regulations for his specialized engineering and legal expertise. Adjacent to his main responsibilities in the field, Mr. Al-Kazzaz served as the Director General for the Ministry of Construction and Housing in Iraq for more than 14 years.
Before venturing onto his vocational path, Mr. Al-Kazzaz sought an education at Baghdad University, where he completed his undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering. Continuing at the same institution, he earned a Master of Science in civil engineering, majoring in highway design and transportation planning. Following this accomplishment, Mr. Al-Kazzaz returned to his formal education at Al-Turath University College in 2000, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in law in 2004.
To remain aware of developments affecting his field, Mr. Al-Kazzaz has maintained his professional affiliation with a number of pertinent organizations, including as the vice president of the Iraq chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). In his career related endeavors, he has served as a senior lecturer for Modern Education for Kurdistan Region of Iraq since 2017. Looking toward the future, Mr. Al-Kazzaz hopes to make a difference in every aspect of the civil engineering profession, as well as the legal trade by continuing his work at the World Bank.
