Born and raised in Camaguey, Cuba, Ms. Lopez later moved to Miami, Florida with her father at the age of 12. After leaving her mother and two sisters, she experienced a difficult transitional period adjusting to life in a new country. In an effort to make something of herself, Ms. Lopez overcame various personal struggles and never lost sight of her goals.
Ms. Lopez initially studied criminal justice, accounting and business management. She subsequently began her career in sales at Bank of America. She also worked as a financial consultant with PNC, and company controller of Grasshopper Land Clearing & Tree Services. In 2015, she became a Real Estate Agent and in 2018, she established her own firm, Elite KY Homes LLC. Ms. Lopez currently excels as the principal broker at Elite KY Homes.
As an accomplished professional, Ms. Lopez has been recognized as one of the most influential professionals in her community, and one of the best real estate agents in the city of Louisville. In 2018, Ms. Lopez was elected to be one of the 100 Most Influential Hispanics in Kentucky by the Mayor. In 2019, she was nominated as a Way to Go Woman by Today's Woman Now Magazine, and one of the 20 Young Leaders of Louisville nominees by YPAL and Louisville Business First, In August 2020, she was named Top Producer Louisville Real Estate Agent by Real Producer Magazine, and in March 2021, she was named Rockstar Real Estate Agent by Tops Louisville Magazine.
In her community, she is also active with the school board for St. Gabriel School, Toys for Tots and several local food banks. Ms. Lopez is a member of the Greater Louisville Association of Realtors Finance committee. She is a former member of the Greater Louisville Association of Realtors Young Professional Committee (2020), the Kentucky State Association of Realtors Young Professional committee (2020), the Kentucky State Association of Realtors Member Services Committee (2020), the Greater Louisville Association of Professional Standards (1/2020 - 12/2020), the Kentucky State Leadership – (2017- 2018), the GLAR Leadership – (2018 – 2019) and the Small Business Loan Committee for Jewish Family – (2010).
