DARIEN, CT, August 20, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Edward Gallet has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
After receiving a business opportunity through a friend, Mr. Gallet built a career for himself in the field of safety engineering. In 1982, he accepted a position with Westover Technology as a documentation manager, flourishing for two years before establishing a company called Fire Service, the service department branch of Firecom. In 1986, he founded another business, Systems Service Technology, with which he remained active for three years. Over the years, Mr. Gallet also gained valuable expertise with Casey System as their service manager.
Currently, Mr. Gallet excels as the director of life safety systems and an associate for MG Engineering DPC, with which he provides in-house code consulting services. Backed by nearly 40 years of experience, he also supervises the standard and design of safety systems and consults with clients regarding their safety and code needs. Driven to stay aware of changes in the field, he remains affiliated with the New York Fire Alarm Association and also served on the NYC Code Revision Committees for the revised NYC construction codes. Outside of his primary responsibilities, Mr. Gallet is noted as a major contributor for the public radio jazz station WBGO in Newark, New Jersey.
Before embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Gallet earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Queens College. He subsequently completed coursework at Saint John's University School of Law. In light of his outstanding achievements, he was honored with an Executive of the Year Award and has been recognized in Covington Who's Who. Even though his career has been filled with highlights, he is especially proud of serving on two different code revision committees that were rewriting the New York City building and fire alarm codes. Looking ahead, Mr. Gallet aims to ensure the line of succession at MG Engineering is properly populated before fully retiring from his directorial role.
