NEW YORK, NY, August 26, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rebecca Fraley-Corrado, MPA, has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. Ms. Fraley-Corrado is the assistant vice president of administration and finance at Medgar Evers College. Serving in this role since 2019, she oversees employees and directs the systematic conduct of administrative & financial activities. She recently stepped into the roles of Acting Labor Designee and Acting Chief Diversity Officer at a time of need. She continues to monitor, budgets, business proposals and special funding programs; and oversees public safety and security operations.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Fraley-Corrado garnered experience as an associate director of human resources for labor relations and associate dean of finance and administration at Kingsborough Community College, and also served as a consultant in the compliance and diversity office of the president at the City University of New York's Hostos Community College. Additionally, she is a past vice president of administration for the New York City School Construction Authority. Ms. Fraley-Corrado is a change agent and has been successful in making positive change in many of the areas that she has directed. At FIT she also led the Sustainability Initiative and spoke at many conferences.
Ms. Fraley-Corrado earned a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice from Saint John's University in 1987. Thereafter, she obtained a Master of Public Administration from the City University of New York's Baruch College Marx School of Public and International Affairs in 1997, where she graduated with honors.
Aside from her vocational pursuits, Ms. Fraley-Corrado volunteers at her local food pantry and donates to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital and takes great pride in mentoring students from Baruch. She attributes her success to her outstanding mentors Dr. Regina Peruggi, Dr. David Gomez and her mother Claude Herve-Boinard. Looking toward the future, she intends to obtain a position that will allow her to work closely with staff, have the responsibility of recruiting, and become deeply involved in developing culture, inclusion and diversity in this every changing job market.
