Prior to her career at National Gypsum, Ms. Zehringer flourished as the chief of the marine inspections division of the U.S. Coast Guard. She previously found success as the chief of the U.S. Coast Guard's domestic vessel branch after serving as a navigation officer for three years. In honor of her meritorious service, Ms. Zehringer has received several accolades from the U.S. Coast Guard, including the Coast Guard Achievement Medal and the Coast Guard Commendation Medal.
