After earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing from the University of Wisconsin in 2005, Mr. Elsner began his career with Blue Cross Blue Shield supporting the NJ plans as a customer service representative and trainer. He then transitioned to a recruiter role with the Roberts Group for several nationwide consumer packaged goods companies. In his capacity with the Roberts Group, he maintained responsibility for placing appropriate candidates in open positions with client companies. Additionally, Mr. Elsner assisted candidates with resume creation and preparation for phone and personal interviews, generated new business through cold calling and negotiated job offers in a way that was beneficial for the companies and employees alike.
Three years later, Mr. Elsner came upon an opportunity with UnitedHealth Group, where he remains active today. As a Root Cause Analysis Manager, he oversees a team of seven that focuses on complex claims across multiple lines of business. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, he aligns himself with Culture Inclusion and Diversity: Awareness and Growth. Outside of his work, Mr. Elsner dedicates himself to those less fortunate through the United Healthcare Children's Foundation and as a frequent supporter for Wounded Warriors.

While his career has been filled with highlights, he is most proud to have reduced provider accounts receivables and to have saved United Healthcare money at the same time.
