Ms. Madden's exemplary performance in the field was born of her academic journey. She first sought an education at Pennsylvania State University in 1990 and completed her undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Arts in Education. In 1998, she would finish her institutional learning at Holy Family University with a Master of Education. Eminently qualified in her field, Ms. Madden has been certified as a reading specialist, and for the Wilson Level One reading program.
A devoted volunteer within her local community, Ms. Madden serves on the executive board for the Parent Teacher Organization of Brookwood Elementary. To remain aware of developments affecting her field, she has maintained her professional affiliation with a number of pertinent organizations, including the International Literacy Association and the Keystone State Reading Association. Looking toward the future, Ms. Madden hopes to retire but continue working in education as a consultant and private tutor.
