Barrows is a member of the Tarrant County Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas, has won Small Business of the Year from the Southlake Chamber of Commerce, has been named a Top Attorney by Southlake Style, Fort Worth Magazine, and 360 West, as well as a "Great Woman of Texas" by Fort Worth Business Press, Metroport Teen Court Judge of the Year, and is a recipient of the James Barlow Big Heart Award.
Having held numerous leadership positions within her industry and on the boards of several non-profit organizations, Barrows is a graduate of leadership programs for both the Southlake and Grapevine Chambers of Commerce, is a former secretary of the Eldon B. Mahon American Inn of Court, and also served on the Tarrant Bar Association as a solo and small business firm leader. Barrows has chaired or co-chaired both Tarrant County Bar Association Day and Tarrant County Adoption Day for multiple years, and is a former executive board member of the Carroll Education Foundation, a non-profit organization that supplements funds for teachers and other educators.
Barrows obtained her undergraduate degree from Sam Houston State University and her juris doctor degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law. Barrows resides in Southlake, Texas with her husband and three sons.
