From a young age, Ms. Diglio-Benkiran had aspirations to pursue a career in the law. She earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Florida International University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Michigan State University College of Law. After obtaining her law degree, she began her career in the Office of the State Attorney of Palm Beach County, Florida. She subsequently became an attorney at law with the Benkiran Law Firm PA, and later worked as a partner and the head of the real estate division with NeJame Law PA. Today, Ms. Diglio-Benkiran is an attorney at law with her own firm in Florida, in addition to owning a roofing company and being active in real estate.
An accomplished professional, Ms. Diglio-Benkiran has appeared on television as a legal commentator to discuss different real estate topics. She has also been interviewed by reporters from various newspapers to share her expertise. For her efforts over the years, she was featured in The American Lawyer, named a Lawyer of Distinction and included in the Sunday New York Times as a 2021 Power Lawyer. Previously, she was a guest lecturer for Keller Williams, Coldwell Banker and La Rosa Realty, and she received the Best Business Attorney Award from Corporate Investment International Inc.
As a dedicated member of her community, Ms. Diglio-Benkiran is active on the board of directors with both Harbour House International and Help Your Neighbor. She maintains professional affiliation with the Florida Bar, the Orange County Bar Association, the Central Florida Real Estate Attorneys' Council, the Old Republic National Title Insurance Company, the WFG National Title Insurance Company, the CATIC National Title Insurance Company and the American Land Title Association. Throughout her career, Ms. Diglio-Benkiran has attributed her professional success to her business acumen. She uses the skills and lessons she has learned as a business owner to set herself apart from other attorneys in her field. Looking toward the future, Ms. Diglio-Benkiran plans to retire from her profession at age 60.
