CAPE VINCENT, NY, September 09, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Daniel Phillip Ward has been included in Marquis Who's Who. From the time he was a child, Mr. Ward has loved building; he would frequently be found using his toy Lego, Girders and Panels construction sets to build fantastic structures. Upon earning a Bachelor of Science in civil and environmental engineering from Clarkson University in the early 1990s, he began in the field as a power plant project engineer for CNF Construction, with which he remained until 1997. Following this post, he gained valuable professional expertise as an assistant project manager for Gemma Power Systems while continuing to build state-of-the-art power generation facilities through North America and the Caribbean.
After the turn of the century, Mr. Ward joined the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as a project engineer and worked his way up to be the Area Engineer at Fort Drum, NY. He the returned to Gemma Power Systems as a project manager and served as president and founder of Seaway Civil Engineering. Today, he channels his expertise into his work as an operations manager for Lawman Heating and Cooling, Inc. With Lawman, he oversees daily business operations, devises standard operating procedures and ensures that the company maintains a capable staff.
Driven to stay abreast of changes in his field, Mr. Ward earned a postgraduate certificate in geographical information systems through The Pennsylvania State University and a postgraduate certificate in executive leadership in government from Georgetown University. Outside of his primary professional endeavors, he supports numerous local charity events.
Though his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Ward is most proud of working on the BRAC133 Project in Washington, D.C. When he took the project on, it was running 15 months behind schedule. However, with his leadership, they concluded the project 37 days ahead of schedule and well under the $1.04 billion budget. In recognition of his outstanding efforts, Mr. Ward received an Award of Excellence through the Engineering News Record and USACE's NY Engineering District Commander's Award.
In the near future, Mr. Ward intends to expound upon his successes and continue to look for construction and engineering challenges to support his growth and the growth of the construction and engineering industries.
