As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Beginning in 2016, Dr. Gross has found success as the president and chief executive officer of Sano Global Nutrition. In this role, he is committed to upholding the company's mission of empowering people all over the world with the tools necessary for an abundant and high quality lifestyle. Through studying handwritten manuals from Cherokee medical books that belonged to his grandmother, Dr. Gross knew he wanted to pursue a career in medicine from as early as his young childhood. As a result, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis in 1982 before subsequently earning a Doctor of Philosophy from Harvard University in 1983. Three years later, Dr. Gross continued his education at Logan University, from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology in 1986 and a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1988. Thereafter, he was certified in acupuncture, as well as in advanced chiropractic techniques.
In addition to his professional career, Dr. Gross has served as an Alderman of Ward II in St. Paul, MO since 1993 and the director of the Ankylosing Spondylitis Association since 1988. Additionally, he has authored "Bio-Synergistic Integration" in 1984 and "The Physician Within" in 1997. Throughout the course of his career, Dr. Gross has maintained his affiliations with the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Chiropractic Association and Toastmasters International.
For his accomplishments, Dr. Gross is proud to have been presented with the Distinguished Professional Award for Private Research from the Smithsonian Institute in 2018, the Most Able Award from Toastmasters International in 1992 and the Star Scholarship from the Logan Alumni Association in 1987. He attributes his success to his belief that all limitations start between the ears.
