Cramer started what is now Puppy Paws Hotel & Spa out of her home 17 years ago. Having dedicated the majority of her adult life as a follower of Jesus, wife and stay at home mom this million-dollar company was the result of her passion for dogs, entrepreneurial vision, God's favor and hard work, or "Holy Hustle" as Cramer describes it. She began with dog grooming for friends and neighbors and her skill as a groomer led to more and more referrals. Year after year she continued to offer additional services until the small, home-based business grew into the award-winning million-dollar company it is today.
After 10 years she moved her business from her home into a 7,000 square foot facility which allowed for growth. Cramer is very proud of what she has created with Puppy Paws as a full-service doggie daycare, training and boarding facility offering their unique brand of PAWSitive pet pampering and training programs. She is responsible for the strategic growth of the company and oversees the daily operations and management of 40 - 50 employees. She is currently expanding the company to include a 2nd state of the art facility in a new area of her community. Her success has been fueled by the pursuit of excellence in business growth, employee development and outstanding care of their dog clients.
Cramer shares her success with her husband Chad. Together they develop the companies' strategic initiatives; she's the visionary and he creates the project plans and oversees implementation. In the coming years they plan to create new revenue streams that will sustain growth for the Puppy Paws brand. They have partnered with Animal Planet Pet Expert Travis Brorsen to develop the Positive Reinforcement training curriculum, a series of instructional videos that will be available to dog boarding facilities nationwide. They are also developing a dog grooming certification academy that will provide on-site training and skill development while meeting a huge need within the industry. Stephanie is a dreamer and has big, bold ideas for the future of the Puppy Paws brand and is intentionally seeking God about the strategic execution of those ideas as well as her own growth and personal development.
Generosity is one of Cramer's core values and she loves to give financially, with her time and by sharing her resources. She realizes that she has been greatly blessed and entrusted with much and believes the biblical truth that much is expected of her in return. Believing that foster care is the modern-day response to the biblical call to care for the orphans, in 2016 she and her husband became foster parents opening their home to several children. She spends her time bringing awareness about the need for foster families in her community and promoting support programs available to current foster families.
She has been an active member of her local church for the last 20 years leading small groups out of her home. She is heavily involved with the Angels Foster Family Network, an agency that is near and dear to her heart, and she maintains her professional affiliation with the Edmond Chamber of Commerce.
Puppy Paws Hotel & Spa was recognized as The Best of Edmond 5 consecutive years by the Edmond Awards Program, has received the Daily Oklahoman Reader's Choice Award and was recognized as the Best Dog Daycare in Oklahoma City. In 2020 Cramer and her husband received the Halo Award from the Angels Foster Family Network for their support of the agency and raising awareness about the need for foster families.
