OMAHA, NE, September 27, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Steve Rogers has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. At the inception of his professional career, Mr. Rogers worked alongside his grandfather and father at a facility titled Eaton Hydraulics. Although starting as a janitor in 1992, he quickly ascended the ranks and became a production supervisor by early 2001. When the facility closed, Mr. Rogers delved into the government sector, and became a background investigator for the U.S. Investigation Service in 2002.
After five years of serving the U.S. Investigation Service, Mr. Rogers returned to operations, noting that it was the primary area in which he excelled. From there, he worked as a value stream manager at Valmont Industries between 2007 and 2017, as director of operations at Lester Electrical from 2017 to 2019, and as chief operations officer of Nebraska Methodist Health Systems from 2019 to 2020. Remaining with the Nebraska Methodist Health Systems today, he has excelled as president and chief executive officer since 2020.
In the midst of his career journey, Mr. Rogers decided to attend college to gain practical knowledge in the field, as well as to complement his hands-on experience. He received an Associate of Arts in business management from Metropolitan Community College in 2013 and a Bachelor of Science in business administration, management and operations from Bellevue University in 2016.
Throughout his career, Rogers has been most proud of the work he performed at Lester Electrical. Notably, he led the company's restructuring and helped them save nearly $800,000 on labor and overtime expenses. Mr. Rogers has attributed his professional success to his determination and flexibility. In the coming years, he plans to continue his work at the Nebraska Methodist Health Systems and help develop other prospective professionals in the field.
