Mr. Holland began his career as a construction coordinator for ExxonMobil in Joliet Refinery, Illinois. Thereafter, he maintained involvement as a senior project nuclear engineer, an engineering manager, a director of project development and vice president of engineering. Aside from his career as an engineer, Mr. Holland served as the United States government energy advisor for the government of Afghanistan from 2005 to 2006, and was Project Director for multi-billion USD energy projects. Moreover, he has volunteered as a coach for various local sports teams and provided his assistance to the Christian ministries of North Houston, Texas. Mr. Holland also functioned as the president of the Lakewood Forest Civic Association between 1988 and 1990.
Before venturing upon his professional journey, Mr. Holland attended Drexel University, from which he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1968. Following this accomplishment, he received a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University in 1969. Well qualified in his field, Mr. Holland is a registered professional engineer in the states of Pennsylvania, Texas, California, Ohio and Hawaii.
