A board-Certified Industrial Hygienist and board-Certified Safety Professional, and certified by the American Industrial Hygiene Association in Occupational Exposure Assessment, Mrs. Huddleston serves as the Principal Industrial Hygienist for FMF Pandion. With Banner Health, she maintained responsibility for directing industrial hygiene services and provided health risk analysis and mitigation action plans for complex industrial hygiene issues. During an earlier stage of her career, she gained valuable expertise in the field of Loss Prevention as an Industrial Hygienist with the Arizona Department of Administration. Mrs. Huddleston initially worked as an Industrial Hygiene and Safety Consultant for Hutzel & Associates Inc. and Adjunct Teacher in the Occupational Safety and Health Technology Department at Gateway Community College, where she educated adult learners on introductory industrial hygiene concepts.
Mrs. Huddleston holds a bachelor's degree in Professional Arts with a minor in Biology from Doane University. Following the attainment of this degree, she completed an Associate in Applied Science in Occupational Safety and Health Technology through Gateway Community College. Later, she completed coursework in advanced Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics and Toxicology through Columbia Southern University as a non-degree seeking student. Mrs. Huddleston holds numerous accreditations from OSHA and the EPA in general industry and construction safety, asbestos, and lead-based-paint inspection and management and is in pursuit of becoming a Certified Asbestos Consultant for the state of California. To remain aware of developments in the field, Mrs. Huddleston aligns herself with the Arizona Chapters of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), Safety for Non-Profits (S4NP), the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) and Toastmasters International. Outside of her work, she dedicates herself to her spouse, Rock Huddleston, her mother, Maxine Amen, is passionate about gardening, and serves at her local church as a piano player on the Worship team and small group leader. The passing of her father, George H. Amen Sr., Captain for a fire department in her hometown of Lincoln, Nebraska, drives her passion and commitment to her profession.
Throughout her career, Ms. Huddleston is proud to have added Industrial Hygiene and Safety to FMF Pandion's consulting services line. At Banner Health, she created a database to track employee occupational exposure likelihood and severity, and presented complex industrial hygiene air monitoring results and hazardous findings to inpatient hospital senior managers and directors. For her work in public speaking, she has earned a Competent Communicator Award and Competent Leader Award through Toastmasters International. Looking toward the future, Ms. Huddleston intents to experience the continued growth of her career.
