Fredrick Jeffrey Falls Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

Mr. Falls has been endorsed by Marquis Who's Who as a leader in the field of transportation

MANSFIELD, OH, September 29, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Fredrick Jeffrey Falls with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Falls celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Leading an interesting, rewarding and diverse career for many years, Mr. Falls recently retired from Kuhnle Brothers Trucking in Mansfield, Ohio, after three years as a truck driver for the transportation company. Having previously worked for several other private trucking companies, including Rebman Truck Service, Reynolds Nationwide, and R&J Trucking, he also found success as a U.S. Army truck driver for several years. Apart from his successful years in transportation, Mr. Falls worked in education and urban planning and was an Emergency Medical Technician.

As an extension of his career, Mr. Falls was engaged with the Kenworth Truck Manufacturing Company Drivers Advisory Board in Bellevue, Washington, from 1992 to 2000. In this position, he was instrumental in gaining professional drivers' input for the manufacture of the Kenworth T2000 trucks, which are still being made in different variations today. At the time, the company aspired to produce a truck that best satisfied the needs of its drivers, which was one of the main reasons the board was formed. Mr. Falls also established a visual program called "Sharing the Road with 18 Wheelers" in 1986, which was featured in truck magazines and was used in the driver education course that he taught at Shelby High School for eight years, beginning in 1992. As part of the program, he brought a Kenworth truck tractor with a trailer to the school several times per year so students could have an "on-board" education.

An influential writer, Mr. Falls was most proud of a handout that he wrote as a result of his time in the military, titled "Taps: A History." A copyrighted two-page graphic that gives a history of the 24-note hymn 'Taps,' it is presented to all family members at veteran funerals. Mr. Falls also authored his own book in 1980, "Breaker One-Nine," followed by a book of trucker-biker poetry, "Harley Steel and 18 Wheels" in 2001. (Mr. Falls still rides the same Harley-Davidson "Shovelhead" that he bought in 1983.)

Civically, Mr. Falls served his country with the U.S. Marine Corps during 1974 and the U.S. Army from 1977 to 1979. He also became active as a board member of the Olentangy River Scenic River Advisory Council in Delaware, Ohio, as City Planner of Delaware from 1985 to 1986. A past president of the H.I.Q. Motorcycle Club, he is a member of the 40 et 8 Military Veterans Society, (the Society of Forty Men and Eight Horses) and drives its historic "Boxcar." In honor of his military service, Mr. Falls serves on the Joint Veterans Burial Squad in Richland County, Ohio, which conducts military honors at veterans' funerals, including a 21-gun salute, flag presentation and "Taps," (which Mr. Falls plays on his bugle).

Mr. Falls received a Bachelor of Community Planning degree at the University of Cincinnati in 1970. He also earned a diploma in truck driving through Midwest Coast Transport in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, in 1976 and a diploma as an Emergency Medical Technician through Madison Fire Education in Mansfield in 2001. Mr. Falls is a licensed commercial driving instructor and licensed commercial truck and bus driver in the state of Ohio, a registered Professional Community Planner in the state of Michigan, and a registered Emergency Medical Technician in the state of Ohio.

In addition, Mr. Falls invented UR2 CLOSE®, a copyrighted vehicle proximity-warning device turned into a reflective adhesive (available for purchase), and is the graphic designer of inventor Frederick Dale's patented TOOL WARMER®.

Among Mr. Falls professional memberships, he is active with Mensa. In 1984, he was honored with a Commendation Award from the Nebraska Department of Education.
