TULSA, OK, October 01, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Matthew C. Matlack has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Mr. Matlack earned a Bachelor of Science in economics from Columbia University in New York in 2000, furthering his education with a Master of Business Administration from the University of Tulsa in 2009 and a Master of Science in Business Analytics from the University of Tulsa Collins College of Business in 2021. During his studies at Columbia, he co-published "Inside New York," a guidebook to New York City as seen from students' perspectives. He was a member of Sigma Iota Epsilon, the national honorary and professional management fraternity, and a Founding Father of Columbia's Sigma Phi Epsilon chapter, NY Phi. His involvement extended beyond the local chapter as Mr. Matlack was elected to represent one of three undergraduate students on the National Board of Directors. He founded the Tragos Quest to Greece, a national scholarship, for the fraternity's top leaders. During the past 20 years, 400 scholars have attended this study abroad program. Mr. Matlack was also selected as a member of the National Scholars Honor Society.
Mr. Matlack has excelled in sales during his career, including as territory account manager from 2000 to 2006 with Cisco Systems, the vice-president of sales with telecommunications service provider DTS Communications from 2006 to 2007 and both an strategic account manager and enterprise account executive with Brocade-Ruckus since 2007. In addition, he has also provided exemplary service as a major accounts manager for Extreme Networks from 2017 to 2018.
During his 20 years of experience in the networking and communications industry, Mr. Matlack has created business plans and executed sales strategies that have repeatedly surpassed quota attainment and allowed him to be nationally recognized as a Top 5% sales performer. He attributes his success to his strong network of family and friends who were positive and encouraging. During the past 18 months, Mr. Matlack has been busy assisting K12 schools by addressing the digital divide and helping communities effectively deploy municipal wireless to enhance broadband service for citizens.
