While working as a Sales Director Associate for Grupo Azor, former Sanford de México, as well as Financial Consultant for ING Group, Mrs. Landesbaum was inspired to become involved in the finance industry due to the lack of financial information and education in her community. Upon earning a bachelor's in International Relations with an emphasis in business through Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México UNAM in the late 1990s, she became a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative with Merck Sharp and Dohme Mexico.
After the turn of the millennium, Mrs. Landesbaum gained valuable expertise as a Financial Services Representative with MetLife, as a Personal Banker with Citi, then she became the Vice President and Branch Manager for JP Morgan Chase & Co in New York City. Backed by her considerable expertise, she became a Partner and now she has her own financial services practice with New York Life Securities LLC, offering financial solutions with the mission to educate individuals and business owners to have a solid financial plan and make a difference for future generations. She is also the founder of Hablando Entre Mujeres USA a bilingual platform to connect and empower women. Throughout her career, she has furthered her expertise by earning a Series 6 and 63 licenses through the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority FINRA, and a State Life and Health Insurance License.
Driven to have an impact and help others, alongside her work, Mrs. Landesbaum volunteers her time and expertise to nonprofit organizations like, the President of the Women's Commission of Fuerza Migrate, President of MECENAS, Chair of AMA-Women with The American Mexican Association, as well as President of Comité Guadalupano of the Archdiocese of New York. In light of her outstanding body of work, she was presented with the Orgullo Latino Achievement Award 2015 by Premios Gruperos NYC, the Americactivate TV Award 2019, the Latino Leaders Recognition through México Latino Magazine in 2019, the Female Leadership in the Financial Industry Award 2019 through the League of United Latin American Citizens LULAC, as Female Entrepreneur of the year 2019 by the Mexican Music Awards NYC, she was featured as one of the Top 100 People in Finance Magazine recognition in 2020, as one of the few Latinas in such a competitive industry. In the same year, celebrating women's international month she was honored through The Society of Foreign Consuls in New York for her contributions to her community. In 2021 Yahoo Finance recognized her as one the Top 20 emerging female entrepreneurs in the U.S. with her success story.
Even though her career has been filled with highlights, Mrs. Landesbaum is incredibly proud of coming to New York more than 20 years ago. It was a life-changing event that pushed her to adjust to the cultural shock and new customs which made her realize again, that she could accomplish anything with passion and love, always remembering where she came from and carrying with pride her Mexican heritage. Looking toward the future, Mrs. Landesbaum aims to earn her CFP designation.
