FROSTBURG, MD, October 04, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Albert Raley has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process. Mr. Raley has been featured in several publications' "Most Fascinating People of 2020"
Albert was born October 12, 1954 in Frostberg, MD. In his youth, he was a dreamer and would set goals for himself. One teenage goal was to visit every state, every continent, and as many Wonders of the World as possible. He accomplished that goal in 2017. To date, he has visited 40 countries and 25 Wonders of the World (depending on which list). He also made a list of 100 things that he wanted to accomplish in life. He has an inventive mind and has invented over 40 products. He soon recognized that teaching and helping others was his calling and that he was a problem solver. He married Darlene Crowe on March 9, 1974 and they have 4 children, 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He has success in sports at the high school, college, and semi-pro levels receiving many awards and accolades in the sports of football, track, and weightlifting. His 6'4" 300 lbs. size aided in that success. He eventually owned his own semi-pro football team in 2003. Albert continues to participate to this day in weightlifting, bowling, bicycling, and golf. He shared that success and knowledge with many over the years.
After high school, Albert attended Frostburg State College and received a B.S. in Education, Geography, and Driver Education. He went on the receive a Master's Degree from that same institution. He received a "Teacher of the Year" award in 2018 sponsored by the Baltimore Ravens and M&T Bank.
Like most, Albert had a variety of jobs. The job he enjoyed the most was teaching Driver Education. The military and being a Locomotive Engineer on the B&O Railroad came in second and third. He was also a businessman owning a travel agency, owning real estate, and training athletes with his Sports Performance Academy.
One of Albert's biggest accomplishments was to enter the political realm. Thinking he could make a difference in our country, he ran for President of the United States in 2020. He chose his wife Darlene as his running mate. They are the first husband/wife Presidential/Vice-Presidential candidates in the history of the United States.
Finally, Albert has been blessed with a wonderful life. He will continue to fulfill his calling and will continue until the day he dies. He would like his epitaph to read, "Here lies Albert Raley, he did it all and did it well while teaching and helping others."
