In order to remain aware of changes in his profession and field, Dr. Forister is affiliated with the American Economic Association, the Econometric Society, the American Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Los Angeles Intellectual Property Law Association and the Consumer Attorneys of California.
Outside of his primary work, Dr. Forister has contributed to his community as an assistant coach and team manager for Riviera Little League and as a den leader for the BSA's Cub Scout Pack 718.
