ATLANTA, GA, October 12, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Anna Helen Santiago has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

With more than 25 years of entrepreneurial experience to her credit, Ms. Santiago has excelled as the chief executive officer of Intown Stars Gymnastics since 2013. Upon its establishment, the Atlanta-based gymnastic center has been acknowledged among the largest in the southeastern region of the United States and provides its facilities to over 1,700 children per week, who are supervised by a team of 65 dedicated employees. Motivated by a desire to treat every child with empathy and respect, Ms. Santiago's therapy-trained coaches approach their lessons with an emphasis on fostering positive relationships with students and their families.

In her capacity as the chief executive officer, Ms. Santiago works closely with her executive team to communicate the mission and vision of the company to their employees. She strives to diligently protect the culture of the gym and cultivate an atmosphere that centers their core values of empowerment for women, the elimination of body shaming and creating a safe and welcoming environment for all participants. Intown Stars Gymnastics has further collaborated with various nonprofit organizations, such as the Decatur Educational Foundation, by hosting fundraising events for student scholarships, energized by the participation of famous Olympians like Gabby Douglas and Laurie Hernandez.

As a reflection of her accomplishments, Ms. Santiago's gym was listed by Inc. Magazine at #1,236 among 250,000 entries for the Fastest Growing Companies in America in 2020. This is largely due to her stridently entrepreneurial mindset and dedication in maintaining growth through bold decisions, a talented staff and building trust with the local community. Additionally, the gym was converted into a virtual learning lounge during the COVID-19 pandemic, enabling students to engage in regular school activities while their parents went to work.

Prior to embarking upon her professional path, Ms. Santiago distinguished herself as a Class Two competitive gymnast while attending middle school during the 1980s, and worked as a gymnastics coach throughout junior high school and college. She initially earned a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from the University of Georgia and a Master of Science in conflict management from Kennesaw State University. Following these accomplishments, she entered the field of nonprofit organization and operated as the director of the Brain and Spinal Injury Trust Fund Commission from 2003 to 2007. During this time, Ms. Santiago also found success as the owner of ASR Consulting, which provided conflict management training for corporations, attorneys and community organizations.

Ms. Santiago credits her success to her ability to make "micro choices" every day that serve to slowly and subtly change the course of her life. Additionally, she has been diligent in unlearning certain patterns that led her to various personal challenges. In the years since, she has learned to become financially independent and self-sufficient, and has been committed to carrying this ethos to her company and approach to community engagement. Among her various accomplishments, Ms. Santiago is incredibly proud of the moments when children beg their parents to let them stay at her gymnastics center just a little longer, which assure her of Intown Stars Gymnastics' status as a leader in the industry.
