A virtual management consulting firm that provides assurance and consulting services for businesses, Balcony Advisors is renowned for its stellar services regarding business, education, finance and management consulting, as well as technical support, technical writing, project and program management and compliance with consumer laws and regulation. Among his many responsibilities, Mr. Coe is responsible for leading the execution of design and implementation of his clients' risk governance and enterprise risk management frameworks, many of which are Fortune 500 companies.
Over the past several years, Mr. Coe gained experience in several roles, which included: federal bank regulator and examination specialist at the Federal Reserve System in Atlanta, financial institution specialist at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (New York City Field Office), and a senior consultant for one of the Big 4 US Accounting Firms. Among other positions, he also worked as a legal consultant on behalf of Carolina Legal Associates. Mr. Coe is presently active as a distinguished lecturer at the Case Western Reserve University School of Law, for which he co-teaches within the Master of Arts in Financial Integrity program led by Coe's mentor and friend Richard Gordon, Professor of Law -former senior counsel at the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
A leader in various community initiatives, Mr. Coe is passionate about contributing to society and making a positive impact. A young alumni council member and member-at-large for the University of South Carolina Alumni Association, he was further recruited as a volunteer and member of the board of directors for HDPT Center Inc. Additionally, Mr. Coe is affiliated with the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Coe earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in investments finance, insurance, and risk management from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina in 2007. He subsequently garnered a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Case Western Reserve University in 2014. Mr. Coe is also a certified professional in supplier diversity through the National Minority Supplier Development Council and a certified regulatory compliance manager through the American Bankers Association.
Mr. Coe has been a member of the American Bankers Association and the National Minority Supplier Diversity Council. Recognizing his success, he was honored as an Emerging Young Entrepreneur by the National Minority Supply Diversity Council in 2021. Mr. Coe was previously celebrated as an Emerging Leader by the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina, received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award and accepted the Martin Luther King Jr. Service Law School Graduate Award.
