ROCKVILLE, MD, October 25, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jinhee Wilde has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Ms. Wilde is a tenured attorney of 35 years who established the WA Law Group LLC, d/b/a Wilde & Associates, as founder and chief executive officer in 2009. Headquartered in Rockville for the last 12 years, she focuses her practice on immigration law, representing clients in matters of investment and employment immigration, citizen and naturalization, and non-immigrant work visas. Departing from corporate law to pursue immigration law, she worked as a partner for several prominent firms in Washington, D.C., including Teras & Wilde PLLC, Johnson & Yang P.C. and Arent Fox. Ms. Wilde also garnered a reputation as a tough prosecutor for the City of Chicago between 1986 and 1988 as well as an inspector general, special counsel and attorney advisor for the U.S. Department of Agriculture between 1989 and 1995.
As a minority woman business owner, Ms. Wilde is proud to counsel clients in need of representation. However, she has made numerous sacrifices to ensure the success of her firm when first establishing the company and during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and the anti-immigration policies of President Donald Trump. Her law firm relies largely on word-of-mouth referral for the growth, thanks to her many loyal clients. Ms. Wilde hopes to continue growing her firm and hire additional lawyers in the coming years to better support the firm's expanding needs.
Aside from her primary responsibilities at WA Law Group LLC, Ms. Wilde has served on various political campaigns, including for Al Gore, Hillary Clinton and President Joe Biden and she was an elected member of the Democratic Central Committee of Montgomery County, Maryland.
She also served as a Korean government representative for the World Trade Organization and representing many multi-national companies with their multi-million dollar deals. Ms. Wilde is often invited as a featured speaker at numerous immigration conferences, including in Korea, Vietnam, the UK and throughout the U.S.
Ms. Wilde has been active in her community as a board member for the APIAVote, a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association and a former member of the board of directors for the Asian American Action Fund and as the former executive vice president of the Asian Pacific American Heritage Council in Washington. She was also appointed as the Commissioner of the Chesapeake Bay Critical Area Protection Program, and the Maryland Ethnic Heritage Commission by two governors of Maryland. Upon her retirement in few years, Ms. Wilde plans to concentrate her time on consulting and mentorship while launching her scholarship program.
To prepare for her career, Ms. Wilde earned a Bachelor of Art in sociology with a minor in psychology at the University of Chicago in 1981 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence at Loyola University Chicago in 1985. She has been admitted to practice in Illinois and Maryland. Ms. Wilde additionally represented clients before the U.S. Court of International Trade.
Ms. Wilde is a pinnacle professional member of Continental Who's Who. Highlighting her success, she has been recognized among the 10 Best Attorneys in Maryland for 2020 by the American Institute of Legal Counsel. Ms. Wilde has also been honored among the Top 10 Immigration Attorneys in Maryland by Attorney and Practice Magazine for 2019 and 2020 and a Top 25 EB-5 Lawyer by EB-5 Investors Magazine for 2015, 2017 and 2018.
