After departing from the military, Mr. Sowles began his career in the animal laboratory at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As a contributor to his community, he has contributed monetary donations to Child of Deaf Adults. Mr. Sowles has likewise dedicated his funds to a young girl in the neighborhood that is battling cancer.
Mr. Sowles earned an associate's degree in pre-veterinary and biology at Darton College. He also obtained a bachelor's degree at the University of Georgia. Furthermore, Mr. Sowles is a prominent member of Retail Shipping Associates.
Recognizing his achievement in entrepreneurship, Mr. Sowles' business has received several Five Star Reviews from Google and Yelp. He was also featured in Burlington Magazine in 2021 where he addressed small businesses in the age of pandemic. Honoring his military service, Mr. Sowles accepted a Meritorious Service Medal in 1994.
