KANSAS CITY, MO, November 04, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Andrew J. Tremonti has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Driven to obtain justice for others, Mr. Tremonti pursued a career in legal service. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from the University of Kansas in 2015, he went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 2019, with an emphasis in Intellectual Property. While in law school, Mr. Tremonti gained experience working as a law clerk for two well-regarded local law firms focusing in civil litigation. With a dedication to public service, Mr. Tremonti graduated law school on the dean's list and with pro bono honors, having completed over 200 hours of pro bono/public service.
During the course of his studies, Mr. Tremonti also gained expertise as an in-house legal intern and later as a legal and compliance consultant for New Directions Behavioral Health, LLC, a national health care service provider. While at New Directions, Mr. Tremonti oversaw medical records requests, conducted a survey of national minor consent laws, and managed HIPPA compliance reporting.
Additionally, one of Mr. Tremonti's most valuable experiences was working as a judicial intern for the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri throughout his final year of law school. While interning for the federal court, Mr. Tremonti conducted research and provided analysis on complex constitutional issues and worked closely with the judge in preparing for oral arguments, motions, and trials before the court.
Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Tremonti accepted a position as an associate attorney for Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP, a national full-service law firm with more than 1,500 attorneys. Between 2019 and 2021, he successfully defended his clients in both state and federal court, obtaining favorable rulings on dispositive motions and judgments in arbitration. Drawing on his expansive breadth of knowledge and experiences, Mr. Tremonti works today as an attorney with Kuhlman & Lucas, LLC, where he seeks justice and fair compensation for those who have been the victim of defective products and the wrongful actions of others.
In order to keep abreast of changes in the legal field and expand his involvement in the legal community, Mr. Tremonti is an active member of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys (MATA), the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (KCMBA) and several other local and national legal organizations. While his career has been filled with many highlights, he is most proud to serve those in his community during their most difficult times. Within the next five years, Mr. Tremonti aims to remain active in the Kansas City legal community with Kuhlman & Lucas and help individuals and families obtain justice for the injuries they and their loved ones have sustained.
