PHOENIX, AZ, November 18, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Salisha Rigsbee has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Observing a need to spur the community to engage with and help those in need, Ms. Rigsbee felt compelled to pursue a career in legal service. Participating in a community business exhibition at her local library, she received an overwhelming response, which solidified her decision to embrace a career in law. Ms. Rigsbee began as a disability attorney for the Phillips Law Group and later became an assistant to the attorney general in the state of Arizona. In 2020, Ms. Rigsbee established her own private practice, through which she specializes in business law, intellectual property and trademark law.
Before venturing onto her vocational path, Ms. Rigsbee sought a formal education at Clafin University, from which she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and literature. Following this accomplishment, she studied further at the Arizona Summit Law School, and graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2015. To commemorate her subsequent career, Ms. Rigsbee was featured in Phoenix Entrepreneurs Magazine for running a Top 25 Law Firm. She maintains her affiliation with the Arizona State Bar Association, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and the Black Women Law Student Association.
In the coming years, Ms. Rigsbee plans to continue expanding the scope of her firm. She would like to hire more attorneys and focus on different areas of legal service. In addition, Ms. Rigsbee aspires to develop educational programs that help students find careers in the field of law.
