Mr. Tata initially obtained a Bachelor of Science in computer science followed by a Master of Science in healthcare leadership and management from Northeastern University in Boston. Soon thereafter, he earned a Master of Education and Instructional Design (Teaching with Technology) from the University of Massachusetts. Mr. Tata concluded his education with a Doctor of Law and Policy from Northeastern University.
Mr. Tata served as an executive general manager with Polyclinic Bonanjo Hospital in Douala, Cameroon from 1992 to 1996. He subsequently worked as an executive systems manager for Holy Family Medical Center in Des Plaines, Illinois from 1996 to 1998. Mr. Tata excelled as a senior systems integration engineer and CareGroup Community Hospitals' electronic data interchange liaison with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard teaching hospital in Boston from 1998 to 2017.
Mr. Tata has found success as the president and chief executive officer with Microhealth Global Consulting Inc. in Stoughton, Massachusetts since 2010 and as chief executive officer with Microhealth Global Medical Center in Cameroon since 2016. He also holds certificates in SQL, Oracle, Datagate, Egate, and Ensemble trainings. Having developed and implemented the first change management concepts as a systems data and systems integration manager in Chicago that are widely utilized in industries, he deployed the policy at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, CareGroup Healthcare System and affiliated hospitals. In addition to designing and managing cutting edge electronic interchange interfaces and overseeing compliance with HIPPA, Mr. Tata built the first concept of a Data Dictionary used at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and community hospitals at the enterprise level for data maps and translations to achieve interoperability.
Mr. Tata has been active as an author with Elevate HIM Ministries from 2004 to 2010, producing the books "Journey from Africa to America", "Mysterious Virtues of Paul Abanda" and "A Warrior at Heart" as well as the articles "Difficulty of Documenting African Culture", "Welfare to Jobs", "Why Mental Health, Why Now?" and "A Prescription for Reducing the United States High School Dropout Rate." His certifications include community leadership from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in 2015, Diaspora Community Leadership from Meta Cultural Development Association USA and Community Leadership Builder from the Meta Fons Association in Cameroon. He considers his career highlight to have been the creation and implementation of change management policies at Beth Israel Deaconess in early 2000. In the coming years, Mr. Tata intends to help bring the American system of healthcare management to underserved countries.
Mr. Tata was profiled in a Boston Globe article entitled "Mother dies leaves son a mission," a Boston Herald article entitled "The Rise of Graduate Programs for Professionals" and a Northeastern University Alumni Magazine lead story entitled "For the Love of Africa."
