Dr. Gray has received several honors during his career, including awards for compassion and teaching.

After concluding coursework at Morehouse College with a dual concentration in Biology and Spanish, Dr. Gray obtained a Doctor of Medicine from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk. From 2016 to 2020, he prospered as a resident physician at NYU Grossman School of Medicine in Manhattan. At the tail end of his residency, he fought on the front lines of COVID-19 during the early weeks of the pandemic. In late 2020, he joined Virginia Center for Women in Chesapeake, where he has quickly made an impact as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist (OB-GYN). Furthermore, he serves as the sole Obstetrician and Gynecologist at the Chesapeake Community Health Center, a branch of the Southeastern Virginia Health System, known for providing high quality, low cost care to the underinsured.
Dr. Gray has received several honors during his career, including awards for compassion and teaching. His memberships include the Hampton Roads Medical Scholars Institute, a small group of physicians charged with recruiting physicians of color, and he serves on the Alumni Board at Norfolk Academy, the oldest private school in Virginia. Additionally, Dr. Gray is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and the American Medical Association.
In accounting for his standout success, Dr. Gray credits the support of his family and his desire to serve communities in need. He was inspired to enter the medical profession by his father, also an OB-GYN physician and his senior partner. He also is particularly inspired by delivering newborns. In a career suffused with highlights, Dr. Gray is looking toward the future, hoping to continue reaping the fruits of his success.
