Ms. Holland is most proud of being able to help children speak and help parents foster their children's speech.
DALLAS, TX, November 23, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jacqueline Elizabeth Holland has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Driven to give a voice to those who can't advocate for themselves, Ms. Holland was encouraged to pursue a career in speech pathology. Additionally, she was inspired by her sister, Tracey. After earning a Bachelor of Science in speech language pathology, Magna Cum Laude, from Texas Christian University in 2005, Ms. Holland went on to receive a master's degree, Summa Cum Laude, through the Callier Center for Communication Disorders at the University of Texas at Dallas in 2007. Upon graduating, she began her career as a speech language pathologist for Northside Independent School District in San Antonio, TX. After six years, she then began practicing in Frisco Independent School District.
Over the years, Ms. Holland gained valuable expertise in the field with Northside Independent School District and Frisco Independent School District. Drawing upon her considerable knowledge, she now excels today as a speech language pathologist with Highland Park Independent School District, where she works with children age three through twelve and participates in testing, diagnosing and treating different communication disorders in the realms of articulation, language development, receptive and expressive language and pragmatic language.
An expert in her field, Ms. Holland aligns herself with the Texas Speech-Language Hearing Association, the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, the Golden Key International Honor Society and Alpha Lambda Delta. Outside of her work, she volunteers at several local organizations. In light of her professional achievements, she earned a scholarship through Texas Christian University, was continually on the dean's list and a TCU Scholar in undergraduate school and was nominated by the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
Although her career has been filled with highlights, Ms. Holland is most proud of being able to help children speak and help parents foster their children's speech. Looking towards the future, she intends to experience the continued growth and success of her career. Ultimately, Ms. Holland aims to continue as a speech language pathologist and impact the lives of those around her. She also hopes to conduct research, continue her education and cultivate a more evidence-based practice to remediate different speech and language disorders.
