She is also an independent freelancer who styles hair and makeup for bridal parties and other events. Specializing in dimensional haircolor and blonding, she enjoys tailoring each look to the client's wants and needs. Her clients trust her to create unique looks for them and she loves adding value to peoples' lives. Noting that she has always had a natural affinity for the field, Ms. Cooke has been fortunate to be a part of red door since the very beginning when the company opened in 2017.
Ms. Cooke notably grew up in dance, where she was exposed to the hair and make-up industry early on, and has become more passionate about the field ever since. She conducts inventory management, web design, and uses social media to help grow the brand. She is constantly inspired by other artists in the field and the stylists she works beside. She appreciates most that her job requires her to be present, and she tries to carry this on to other aspects of her life as well.
Ms. Cooke received her high school diploma, completed the cosmetology program at Lower Pioneer Valley Educational Collaborative in West Springfield, Massachusetts, and became a licensed cosmetologist in 2012. She competed in Skills USA competitions for cosmetology at the district, state, and national levels with much success, and also attended organizational leadership conferences. Deciding to further her education, she achieved a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership at Western New England University in 2016. She has enjoyed combining her licensure with her degree, and is excited to see what opportunities the future may hold.
